Division of Production and Materials Engineering

We conduct research and education in materials and production engineering. Industrial production is an applied subject that ranges from applied materials engineering, through various manufacturing methods, to technical and economic analysis of entire manufacturing systems.

Our multidisciplinary research can be compared to the athletics 10-combat. We use basic scientific methods and approaches to our practically applied questions. The basics are drawn from economics, engineering mechanics, materials engineering, electrical measurement, mechanical heat theory and signal processing.
